Risk Characteristics and Risk Checklist of Discontinuous Technological Innovation——Based on the Compare with Continuous Technological Innovation

摘要 不连续技术创新是现代企业摆脱竞争困境、实现技术跨越和构筑持续竞争优势的战略性新途径,但它具有巨大的风险与管理挑战性,系统识别并定义不连续技术创新的风险类型、风险因素和风险特征,有利于企业选择正确的创新战略与策略。本文通过对国内外不连续技术创新、突破性技术创新等相关文献的系统研究,通过与连续技术创新的系统比较,较全面和深入地揭示不连续技术创新特有的、表现更显著的以及与连续技术创新对立的主要风险类型、主要风险因素及主要风险特征,并由此提出不连续技术创新的风险核对表。 Discontinuous Technological Innovation (DTI) is a new strategic way for modern enterprise to get rid of competition predicament, realize the technological leapfrogging and build sustainable competitive advantage, but it has huge risks and management challenges. Identifying and defining the risk types, risk factors and risk characteristics of DTI systematically will be benefit for enterprises to choose the right innovation strategy and tactics. Through systematic study on relevant literature about DTI and Breakthrough Technological Innovation home and abroad, and compare with Continuous Technological Innovation(CTI) systematically, this article reveals the major risk types, main risk factors and major risk characteristics of DTI which are specific, or more remarkable than CTI, or oppositely functional to CTI, and proposes the risk checklist of DTI.
