摘要
车牌定位是车牌识别系统的第一步,也是非常重要的一步,对车辆牌照的特征及几种常用的定位方法进行简要介绍,对车牌图像进行图像预处理之后,用微分算子对图像进行边缘提取,并且针对Sobel算子的缺点用形态学出来进行弥补。根据图像行、列像素点灰度值累加和对车牌图像进行定位,最后给出定位出的车牌图像。
License plate location is the first step of license plate recognition,also a very important one.This paper briefly introduces the characteristics of vehicle license and several common location methods.After license plate image preprocessing,it extracts the edge of the image with differential operator,and makes up for shortcomings of Sobel operator by morphology method.On the basis of pixel gray accumulated values in row,completes a license plate image in license plate recognition.
