尽管在人类数千年的文明史中蕴藏着极其丰富的管理思想,但管理作为一门科学一直到19世纪末20世纪初才随着生产力的高度发展和科学技术的进步,随着近代资本主义工厂制度和工厂管理实践的发展,在西方逐渐形成并蓬勃发展起来。本文旨在对19世纪末至今的管理学发展过程中的理论及其特点、发展趋势作一总结、评析,以期在了解过去的基础上,对进一步研究和发展管理理论服务。

During the thousands of years of human history of civilization, there are so many kinds of management ideologies, however, the management did not developed to be an independent subject until the late 19th century. This paper concludes the theory, character of management theory from the late 19th century to the present time based on summarizing and analyzing the management developing process, characteristics and development tendency.
