王向峰的旧体诗集《云斋守望》,遵循"平水韵"格式写律诗,诗语清新流畅,诗情真挚浓厚,深得唐诗风致和中国古典美学的滋养,使旧体形式表现当代情思而毫无滞碍。不论是律诗还是绝句的创作,皆中规中矩而不显镣铐的束缚,足见学者之诗特有的审美表现功力。

Wang Xiangfeng,composer of the poem collection Expecting and Waiting in My Study,writes classical poems following Pingshui Rhythm.Nourished by the charm of the poems of Tang Dynasty and the Chinese Classical Aesthetics,he is skillful in expressing modern thoughts by adopting the classical forms with his choice of words bright and fluid and feelings true and rich.All the poems,either classical ones or those with certain poetic meters,don＇t seem to be fettered by tradition,which reveal the aesthetic tension of the poems.
