The concept of experience is an important one in Hegelian philosophy. Different from the concept of experience in natural science, it is historical, negative and self-sufficient in terms of standard. Tracing back its history, this paper clarifies the rich connotations of Hegelian experience, and reveals his influence on H. Gadamer.
