The Bluest Eye, the first novel by Toni Morrison, depicts the sorrow and loss of Pecola, a black girl in racial discrimination, which is a breakthrough in black literature. Approaching it from family love under racial discrimination, tragic love in cultural colonization and the variation of love as a result of "dual consciousness", this paper analyzes the heroine's tragedy resulting from the loss and variation of love due to the internalization of discrimination.
