On the Translator's Subjectivity from a Feminist Perspective

After a review and introduction of feminism, this paper probes into the subjectivity of translator from a feminist perspective. It holds that the subjectivity of a feminist translator lies in his/her manipulation of the original text. Disintegrating the hegemony of the SL text over the TL text, the feminist translation project approaches the translator＇s subjectivity from a brand new perspective. Meanwhile, it introduces the feminist translation strategies by specific examples.
