On the Online Reading of Literary Classics

文学经典是人类永不舍弃的精神行囊,承载着厚重的文化底蕴,其在重建价值秩序,发现和培育时代精神等方面一直发挥着重要作用。当今网络不仅带来了文学经典的阅读方式和内容的巨大变革,而且解构并重新建构了文学经典的结构内容、审美习惯、价值功能,从根本上影响了文学经典的精神内核和存在本质。但是,文学经典与网络传媒的关系应当是互动的而非对抗的,研究文学经典的网络阅读现状,对文学经典的传承和网络文化的发展都具有重要意义。

Literary classics are spiritual heritage of permanent values that contemporary people are endowed with. They entered the classical canon for their representation of human cultures and histories. Classics are not only continually fascinating readers for what makes them classics, they also contribute greatly to the reconstruction of value system. It has been acknowledged that intemet has tremendously changed the ways of reading as well as the subjects and the concerns of literary classics which are in the becoming, but has also deconstructed and reconstructed their structural content, poetic perspectives, and their value functions, altering fundamentally the core and the essence of these classics. As a conclusion, it is of great importance to make a research on the online transmission of literary classics, its role in inheriting literaly traditions and in the development of internet culture.
