崖城系列亲本在我国甘蔗育种中的利用效果

Utilization of Sugarcane Parents of Yacheng Series in Sugarcane Breeding of China

20世纪50年代以来,广州甘蔗糖业研究所海南甘蔗育种场利用当地野生种与Badila等热带种进行远缘杂交,创制了一批崖城系列亲本。本文对崖城系列亲本在我国甘蔗育种中的利用情况进行了研究。结果表明,崖城系列亲本已成为近年来我国大陆使用频率最高、育成品种数量最多的重要亲本,"九五"至"十一五"期间,育成后代品种32个,在广东、广西、云南等蔗区大面积推广种植;同时还选育出一批重要的优良育种中间材料,被列为常用核心亲本加以利用。该系列亲本属优良的强抗旱亲本和高抗病性亲本,是选育强抗逆性品种的重要亲本。

Distant hybridization between local wild species and tropical species such as Badila was conducted in Hainan Sugarcane Breeding Station of Guangzhou Sugarcane Industry Research Institute since 1950s, a great deal of sugarcane parents of Yacheng series were created. In this study, utilization of sugarcane parents of Yacheng series in sugarcane breeding of China was investigated. The result indicated that, Yacheng series parents had become the most important parents that were most frequently used and produced varieties the most. 32 varieties were bred from progeny of Yacheng series parents, and they were planted in large scale in sugarcane area of Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan province; A large number of intermediate material for breeding were bred, and they were used as common core parents. This series of material were excellent parents with drought resistance and high disease resistance. They were important sugarcane parents that can produce varieties with high adversity resistance.
