《经籍籑诂》“籑”“纂”考辨

清代训诂巨著《经籍籑诂》是今人阅读古籍的必备工具书。然今人诸多论及此书的著作多将书名中的"籑"误作"纂"。从历史演变渊源来看,"籑"与"撰"同,有创作义。"纂"为"缵"之假借,乃汇集义。"籑"与"纂"二字在原始义、语法义、比喻义诸方面存在显著区别,因此《经籍籑诂》使用"籑"是不宜替代的。

In terms of historical evolution and origin, Zhuan（籑） equates with Zhuan（撰） meaning ＂to create＂, whereas Zuan（纂） is a loan character for Zuan（瓒） meaning ＂to assemble＂ . There exist remarkable differences between Zhuan（籑） and figurative meaning. Thus, it＇s not desirable and Zuan（纂） in their lexical meaning, grammatical meaning to substitute Zhuan（籑）for Zuan（纂）
