教学型高校的性质特征和专业数量急剧增加的发展情况决定了专业建设是新建本科院校基础性紧迫性的重要工作之一,教研室作为新建本科院校的"底部"基层组织,在学校的专业建设中发挥着不可替代的重要作用,应以发挥专业建设的职能为核心,加强新建本科院校教研室建设。

In view of the teaching-oriented nature and a sharp increase in specialty number of newlyuilt undergraduate colleges, specialty construction ranks as one of the basic and urgent tasks in newly- built undergraduate colleges. Besides, teaching and research sections, as basic organizations, play an irreplaceable role in specialty construction in newly-built undergraduate colleges. Therefore, the colleges should take specialty construction as their central task in order to strengthen the construction of teaching and research sections.
