摘要
商标音译的成败影响商品能否顺利进入国际市场。英语商标要进入中国市场,其音译须充分考虑汉字的音、形、义于一体的特点。研究表明,英语商标音译选字上多选用汉语动词和动态形容词,具有明显的动态性特征。
The Success or failure of trademark translation determines whether a product can be well accepted or not in the international market. An English trademark to be introduced into the Chinese market should take fully into consideration Chinese Characters as a unity of sound, form and meaning when transliterated. It is discovered that Chinese verbs and dynamic adjectives are often chosen to transliterate English trademarks, characterized by a state of being dynamic.
