The modernization process in modern Japanese history was just one part of the whole change ofmodern world system. During this process, Japan not only had rational cognition and fully prepared for the external culture from the aspect of idea, but also kept sober - minded and realistic attitudes towards the international politics, and at the same time adapted to the trend of world economy until being one of the core countries in modem world system. Putting aside the militarism gloom, the interactivities between modern Japan and the system of international political economy are worthy of pondering and learning from for China today.
