以毛泽东、邓小平、江泽民、胡锦涛为代表的中国共产党人,创造性运用和发展了马克思列宁主义,实现了马克思主义中国化的两次历史性的飞跃:第一次飞跃的伟大成果是毛泽东思想,第二次飞跃的伟大成果是中国特色社会主义理论体系。邓小平理论产生标志中国特色社会主义理论体系的创立,"三个代表"重要思想形成标志中国特色社会主义理论体系的新发展,形成了科学发展观等重大战略思想,标志中国特色社会主义理论体系的进一步完善。中国特色社会主义理论体系是个性和共性的辩证统一。

As the representatives of the Communist Party of China, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zerain and Hu Jintao have innovatively utilized and developed Marxism - Leninism, and achieved two historical leaps on the sinieization of Marxism. The great achievement of the first leap is Mao Zedong Thought, while that of the second one is the socialist theoretical system with Chinese characteristics. The emergence of Deng Xiaoping Theory marks the foundation of the socialist theoretical system with Chinese Characteristics, while the formation of the ＂Three Represents＂ marks its new development, and the importantly strategic thought of Scientific Outlook on Development marks its further improvement. The socialist theoretical system with Chinese characteristics is the dialectical unity of individuality and universality.
