On Equivalent Translation from the Perspective of Memetics

等值,作为西方翻译理论的核心概念,一直以来为世界各国的专家学者争论不休。随着语言学、语义学、语用学等的引入,等值翻译的内涵不断地丰富起来。以模因论为基础,从形式、语义、语用等方面对等值翻译进行深入探讨,揭示了源语模因到目标语模因的复制和传播过程,有效地实现异国模因的跨文化交流。

Equivalence, the core of the translation theory in the West, has been long discussed by the experts throughout the world. With the introduction of linguistics, semantics and praguaafics, the connotation of equivalence is becoming richer and richer. Based on memetics, equivalent translation is explored in three aspects -formal, semantic and pragmatic, which reveals the whole process of replicating and transmitting of a meme from the SL（Source Language） to the TL（Target Language）. Thus, a foreign meme is interculturally delivered in an effective way.
