Huaneng Shaanxi Qinling Power Co., Ltd. completed FGD renovation project for the 4×200 MW units, and got the practice of the operation with canceling the bypass. As an example, this paper focuses on the analysis of operation problem of desulfurization systems without bypass, and puts forward the corresponding measures for using the FGD without bypass, which provides a useful experience of safe and stable operation for the units.
