再论贵州省境市县区名语源类型的区域差异

Regional Difference in Etymology Types of City and County Names in Guizhou Province

以贵州省境市、县和市辖区名为研究对象,对其语源类型进行讨论。该省的市县区名在以地貌为主导划分因素的三区间存在着明显的差异:东部山地丘陵区和黔中丘原盆地区皆以自然因素命名为主,西部高原山地区的命名是以社会政治因素为主导,而历史因素均是非主导因素。

This paper discusses the etymology types of cities, counties and municipal districts in Guizhou province. Marked differences exist in the names of cities, counties and municipal districts in the three areas whose division mainly depends on topographic features： eastern mountain and hill area and Qianzhong downy basin areas are named mainly by natural factors, the dominant factors for the name of western plateau mountain area is socio-political factors, while historical factors are non-dominant.
