相对重点高校而言,地方本科院校办学所面临的发展困难和生存压力要大得多,处于经济发展滞后地区的高校尤其如此。因此,研究确立地方本科院校办学定位,要深刻分析高校所处地域外部环境的有利因素和不利因素,趋利避害,突显本科院校的办学特色,为高校发展赢得有效的空间。

Compared with the key universities, the local universities are facing more difficulties and heavier pressure, especially those in less-developed areas. Therefore, in the university orientation, the external environ- ment for the universities must be analyzed in-depth. By earnestly studying the advantages and disadvantages of the enviroranent, we must make full use of the advantages and avoid the disadvantages, actively create education- al features of universities so as to obtain efficient space for the development of the universities.
