对地方高职院校办学特色的反思——以福建省市属高职院校为例

Reflections on Characteristics of Local Vocational Colleges——a Case Study of Vocational Colleges in Fujian

高职院校办学特色既是院校生存与发展的模式,又是院校发展与追求的目标。以福建省市属高职院校为研究样本,从一个侧面证明地方高职院校在形成办学特色方面虽有进展,但办学特色尚停留在概念上、被"特色"等情况,其主要原因有三:办学者的高等教育思想与办学理念尚未能有效支撑办学特色形成;学校的办学历史短,办学基础条件残缺;现行的高职管理机制及办学思想、大学精神的不足。地方高职院校形成办学特色的主要思路是:紧紧围绕学校所在区域的支柱产业、特色产业办学,确立真正属于自己凝练的办学理念等。

College characteristics are either the survival tool or final target of development for vocational colleges. A case study of the vocational colleges in Fujian can prove that local vocational eolleges although have made progress in school running characteristics still have six problems, such as staying on conceptive, being characterized, etc. The reason is that higher educational thoughts and school-running concept of the school administrators cannot support the forming of the school running characteristics. The ways to forming school running characteristic are that we can run school around regional pillar industry, characteristic industry and establish our own school-running concept.
