This article discusses the connotation of the virtual laboratories, briefly introduces the functional module and three-layer structure of the college chemical virtual laboratory developed, and adopts the concrete design to establish the 3D simulation model based on VRML. The practical applications show that this virtual laboratory has obtained very good teaching effects.
