Different Contexts,Various Interpretations:An Exploration of the Multi-interpretations in Translations from the Perspective of Hermeneutics

翻译从本质上说是一种阐释,在从源语文本向目的语文本转化过程中,因受历史、文化等不同语境的客观限制和译者的诸多主观因素影响,阐释必然产生多样性,其结果是呈现出目的语文本的多样性状况。从哲学解释学角度分析翻译理解的多样性特征,探讨译者与多样性阐释的关系,有助于我们更好地理解翻译的本质,从而有效地指导翻译实践。

Translation is a kind of interpretation by nature. During the process of converting from the source text to the target one, as some limits of different context of history, culture and background of translators, there are definitely multi-inter- pretations, and in turn there are multi-versions of target text. This paper is to discuss the muihi-characteristics and explore the close relation between translators and multi-interpretations from the perspective of hermeneuties, which hence guides translations.
