Foreign language course design is a complicated and special process. The development of Emperientialism and its rich connotations provide foreign language course design with an opportunity. Foreign language course design which is essentially embodied gives emphasis on not only the embodiment and interaction between foreign language teachers and students but also on students＇ cognitive competence and metaphorical competence.
