社会主义政治文明是建设中国特色社会主义的重要政治目标。社会主义政治文明的实现与公民素质息息相关,而公民素质的高低首先表现为公民意识水平的高低。大学生是我国公民中受教育程度较高的群体,他们的公民意识水平将对我国政治文明的建设水平和未来走向产生深远影响。高校应加强对大学生的公民意识教育,通过改善政治理论课的教学内容和方法,努力营造民主的大学文化氛围,积极引导大学生参与各类公民实践活动,提升大学生的公民意识水平。

Socialist political civilization is an important political objective in the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Socialist political civilization is closely linked with the quality of citizens which is determined by the level of citizen consciousness. As college students are better educated, the level of their citizen consciousness will exert far - reaching effects on the construction of political civilization in our country and its future orientation. Therefore, colleges and universities should strengthen the education of citizen consciousness among the students, endeavor to build up a democratic cultural atmosphere by improving the teaching content and the methodology of political theory courses and encourage the students to participate in the citizen practices of every kind so as to upgrade their consciousness of citizenship.
