摘要
对于中国学生来说,英文写作课程的教学目标就是要求学习者能够运用准确、地道的英文表达内在的思想。提高这一能力应该从两个方面着手:语言表达能力和思路拓展能力。传统的英文写作教学往往侧重于语言表达能力而忽视思维训练,导致学生的英语写作能力不能从根本上得到提高。本文从形象思维与抽象思维、发散思维与统合思维、常规思维与超常思维等方面对英文写作思维训练方法进行梳理,以提高英文写作教学的效果。
English writing course aims at training the Chinese students on expression of their ideas in proper English. It should be done from two aspects :expressive ability in English and the ability to deepening one' s thought. It' s a pity that traditional way of teaching English writing focus on linguistic training mainly while neglect the training on ways of thought. The ways of thought training in English writing are divided into concrete thought and abstract thought, decentralized thought and centralized thought, ordinary thought and extraordinary thought here as to improve effectiveness of English teaching.
