High chromium possesses good abrasion resistance,but it is a kind of friable materials.Thin-walled high chromium cast iron pipes also have a tendency to crack,so it is difficult to cast.The present paper talks about the foundry technology for thin-walled high chromium cast iron pipes,based on the properly designing and process control.Pipes in good outlook with qualified size and proper hardness have been produced.
