摘要
针对近距大目标红外图像对比度低、视觉效果差、红外目标易被背景噪声干扰的缺点,提出一种有效的红外图像目标背景分割增强算法。该算法首先运用半阈值分割法对图像进行分割,使目标从背景中分离出来,然后再对目标区域进行增强处理。最后将该算法与目前常用红外图像增强算法进行对比实验,表明该算法简便有效,增强红外目标并突出目标细节,适合红外热成像系统的实时应用。
An effective algrithm for enhancing the object in infrared image is proposed to solve the problems of low contrast, poor visual quality, and the interference of the infrared object by the background noise. In the algrithm, first, the object is extracted from the background by using the method of semi-threshold segmentation, and then the object area will be enhanced separately. Finally, experiments are carried out to make comparisions of this algorithm with the currently used algorithms. The experimental results show that the new algorithm can enhance the infrared object effectively, and highlight the object details, so it is suitable for the practical applications of real-time infrared thermal imaging systems.
