近现代天津铜元市价变动对商民经济生活的影响

On the Effects of Change of Copper's Market Price upon Merchant and People's Economic Life in Modern Times in Tianjin

铜元自1900年登上历史舞台后,流通日广,市价涨落不定,对广大商民,尤其是中下层民众的经济生活产生了重要影响。通过对1902—1937年间天津铜元市价变动及其原因、铜元市价变动对商民经济生活的影响、地方政府及商人组织的对策及效果的考察,可从一个方面透视1935年币制改革的成效。事实表明,能否协调好制度变革与政治、经济环境之间的关系,使"划一币制","维持十进"得到切实执行,使币制改革发挥更好效果,是一个与法令条文中的相应规定同等重要的问题。

Since 1900 when the copper was circulated in the market, it had an important effect upon the economic life of many merchants and ordinary people, especially of the middle and lowclass people. We have a perception on the effects of currency reform of 1935, by reviewing the change of copper＇s market price and its cause during the years between 1902 and 1937, and the effects of change of copperas market price upon the economic life of merchants and ordinary people, and countermeasures that ocal government and merchan＇s organization took. It turns out that it is important to coordinate the relations between system reform and political and economic environment, to implement the integration of currency system.
