从“乞丐入馆事件”看我国公共图书馆的社会包容性

Explore the Social Inclusion of Public Libraries in China Through the "Beggars Access to the Library Event"

促进社会包容是现代公共图书馆的使命。本文对"乞丐入馆事件"折射出的公共图书馆社会包容现状进行探讨,并进一步从理论研究和图书馆实践两个角度进行分析,发现在我国公共图书馆服务中社会包容精神长期缺失,虽然社会包容理念正逐步引起学界和业界的关注,但实践中的包容程度和水平不高,有待进一步宣扬和践行。

Promoting social inclusion is the mission of modern public libraries. The article explores the public librarieg social inclusion status reflected by the ＂beggars access to the library event＂, and makes a further analysis from two angles： theoretical research and library practice, it finds that Chi nese public libraries are long-term lack of social inclusion spirit, though academia and the industry gradually pay attention to it, the extent and level of inclusion is not high in the practice, so public libraries need to further promote and practice.
