Analysis of Several Issues on Characteristic Specialty Construction at Colleges and Universities

高等教育进入大众化发展阶段,办学特色成为高等学校在激烈竞争中保持核心竞争力的关键因素。"十一五"期间,教育部分6批在高等学校立项建设3376个特色专业建设点进行重点建设。各地教育主管部门及特色专业建设高校对建设特色专业进行了探索、实践和研究,但还必须强调要从特色专业人才培养的定位、方案的设计和质量的评估三个方面去思考特色专业建设,真正保证特色专业的人才培养质量,最终落实设置特色专业建设点的初衷。

Along with the higher education developed into a popular stage, the special features of a college or an university become the key factor to keep its core force in fierce competitions. During the 1 l th Five - Year Plan, the Ministry of Education has built six batches of project establishments of 3376 characteristic specialties in colleges and universities for key construction items. From the exploration and practice of the educational adminis- trative departments in each district and universities that have characteristic specialty, the writer thinks that we must emphasize on three issues： the positioning of personnel training, scheme design and quality assessment, so that we can ensure the quality of personnel training and achieve the goal ultimately.
