多语者语码转换消耗非对称性的研究

Asymmetric Language Switching Costs in Multilinguals

语码转换问题是多语研究的一个重要问题,语码转换消耗的非对称性在语码转换过程中也是一个重要的概念。文章通过奇偶数判断实验来检验俄-英-中多语者在语码转换过程中是否存在非对称性转换消耗。大连理工大学30名母语为俄语,二语和三语分别是英语和汉语的国际交换生参加了本实验。实验任务是基于E-prime软件设计的奇偶数判断任务。实验结果表明:俄-英-中多语者在完成奇偶数判断任务过程中,俄语和英语之间的转换消耗是呈对称性,英语和汉语之间的转换以及俄语和汉语之间的转换消耗呈非对称性。

The study attempts to find out whether asymmetric language switching costs exist in muhilingual （Russian-English-Chinese） speakers. 30 Belarusian students participated in this experiment. The experiment was an odd-even number decision task which is designed on E-prime software. Number words were presented in L1, 1.2 and L3, and participants were required to judge whether the words were odd or even. The result of the experiment shows that switch cost between Russian and English is symmetric, while switch cost between English and Chinese, and between Russian and Chinese are asymmetric.
