从特瑞·麦克米兰的创作看美国黑人女性文学在当代的发展

Development of Contemporary Afro-American Women Writing Reflected in Novels by Terry McMillan

当代美国黑人女性文学较少受到国内研究界的关注,为此,本论文选取其中的代表作家特瑞·麦克米兰,分析其两部代表作品,指出其对黑人女性形象的塑造,不仅承接了美国黑人女性文学的传统,而且还做出了富有创新性的贡献,即在重新阐释富有时代气息的黑人女性精神、塑造更加积极向上的黑人女性及其群体形象方面,展现了黑人女性文学在当代得到发展的实绩。

The contemporary Afro-American women writing has gained a great development, but is seldom studied in the literary critical field of China. Based on this situation, this paper takes two novels by Terry McMillan as a case to ana- lyse the development of contemporary Afro-American women writing. Through analysing the depiction of black women in these two novels, this paper points out that McMiUan＇ s writing inherits the tradition of AE＇o-American women writing in terms of the representation of black women, and demonstrates her creative contribution to the development of the Afro- American women writing, which is reflected in re-explaining the new spirituality of contemporary black women and por- traying the images of the individual and the community of active black women.
