摘要
使用语料库方法从词汇和句法两个层面对比分析中英报刊新闻标题的语言特征,结果发现,尽管中英报刊新闻标题语言特征在总体上是相似的,但在具体的语言使用上仍存在许多差异。中国报刊英语新闻标题中大量出现的本土化词汇,在一定程度上反映了中国新闻英语的本土化倾向。
Based on the corpus,this research is an attempt to carry out a comparative analysis between headlines of Chinese and British English news reports from the perspectives of vocabulary and syntax.The results show that although the linguistic features of headlines in the two corpora are similar yet differences still exist in their specific language usage.The large number of Chinese-style vocabulary that appeared in the headlines of the Chinese English news reports reflects localization tendency of Chinese English news reports.
