Both the economic take - off and upgrading of industrial structure can not be achieved without the effective support of circulation industry especially modern logistics industry. It will be the key factor to solve the conun- drum of developing modem logistics during Huizhou＇ s development. On the basis of the research on the situation and existing problems of the development of Huizhou＇ s logistics, this paper analyzes that there are four aspects of comparative advantages for Huizhou to develop modem logistics industry： location advantage for its unique geogra- phy, transport advantage as a fine natural harbor, good and solid industry advantage, and natural informationization advantage. It also puts forwards policy suggestions on Huizhou＇ s developing modem logistics industry.
