摘要
柳州共发现摩崖石刻100余方,年代从北宋初年至民国时期。摩崖石刻字体包括篆、隶、楷、草、行等,内容有游览题记、题名,亦有纪事铭文等。摩崖石刻是刻在石壁上的史书,具有补史作用,对于研究地方史、民族史具有重要的参考价值。
More than 100 cliff engravings have been found at Liuzhou dating ti＇om the early Northern bong Dynasty to the Republic of China. These engravings are made in different scripts like zhuan, li, kai, cao, and xing to dedicate a place, as a signature, or to record a trip or an event. They complement the official history and are valuable sources for studying local history as well as ethnic history.
