Painters in Yun Shouping's Clan

恽寿平是清初著名的花鸟画家,其没骨花卉对清代画坛影响甚巨。在其家族中,直接或间接师承恽寿平画法者多达五十余人。本文以传世作品为线索,解析恽寿平家族传人的艺术风格,并由此透析家族传承在中国传统艺术传播与艺术教育中的意义。

Yun Shouping was a renowned painter in the early Qing Dynasty who was skilled at bird and flower. His flowers without outline had considerably influenced painting throughout the Qing. Within Yun＇ s clan, more than fifty painters directly or indirectly adopted his painting style. This article reviews surviving works to investigate the artistic styles of painters from Yun＇ s clan. It also reveals the role that inheritance within a clan played in the transmission and education of traditional Chinese art.
