儿童文学的翻译首先是针对儿童的,译者面临着既保持儿童童趣又要把它传递给另一文化的儿童读者的挑战。儿童文学作为一种文学形式不可避免地包含有文化因素,译者应从文化翻译观的视角来鉴赏和体会原作,与原作"文化对话",充分认识到两种文化的差异,寻求最佳翻译策略,以求最大限度地向目标语儿童传递源语文化。

Translation of children＇s literature is aimed at children at first. The translator faces the challenge of transferring children＇s books in one culture to children readers in another culture as well as maintaining its interests valued by children. As a literary form, children＇s literature inevitably includes cultural factors. Translators should appreciate the original works from cultural translation theory, and have a dialogue with the original works. Translators should recognize the differences of these two cultures fully and try to find the best translation strategy in order to transfer the original culture to the children of target language as far as possible.
