青年毛泽东颂扬汤芗铭及其缘由辩析

Analysis of the Reasons for Young Mao Zedong's Eulogy of Tang Xiangming

有"汤屠夫"之称的汤芗铭在湖南统治三年,血债累累,可青年毛泽东却以独特的眼光分析汤芗铭在湖南的政绩,并为汤芗铭被赶走抱不平。其原因,一是毛泽东看问题的方法确实与众不同;二是愤于汤芗铭去后湖南时局的混乱和长沙秩序极不稳定;三是当时的毛泽东在政治上并不十分成熟,尚未认清军阀的政治本质,因而对汤芗铭多有溢美之词。

Tang Xiangming,the person who was called ＂Butcher Tang＂, ruled Hunan Province for three years with bloody crimes. Young Mao Zedong, however,analyzed the political achievement of Tang Xiang- ming from unique perspectives,and defendsed Tang against an injustice that forced him to leave. There are some reasons for this. One is Mao Zedong＇s different views. Another is his resentment to the chaos and unstable situation in Hunan after Tang＇s leaving. Thirdly,at that time,Mao Zedong was not so politically sophisticated and he had not yet grasped the political nature of the warlords, and therefore there was much eulogy of Tang Xiangming.
