桂西北某高校新生UPI调查结果分析

An Analysis of the Findings of Investigation on Freshmen of School in Guixibei

采用UPI对桂西北某高校新生进行心理健康状况调查,研究发现:(1)被试心理健康问题的首次总检出率为42.7%;(2)桂西北文科专业类型新生心理健康总体水平显著差于理科、艺术、小学教育等专业类型的学生;(3)桂西北女大学新生心理健康水平普遍比男生差,且在神经症倾向上差异极显著;(4)更多的学生不能及时有效地化解头脑中无意义的想法,过分焦虑,不能很好地排解和调控不良情绪,对学习和未来前途担忧,自信心和人际交往技能不足等问题困扰;(5)本科新生的总体心理健康状况明显比专科新生差。

UPI is used to conduct an investigation into the mental health of freshmen of school in Guixibei. The findings are as follows： （1） 42.74% subjects are screened to have mental health problem at the first time; （2） the mental health of arts freshmen is much poorer than that of freshmen majoring in science, art and primary education; （3） the mental health of female freshmen is, on the whole, much weaker, than that of male freshmen, and there is much difference between them in neurotic tendency. （4） many students are obsessed with some ideas, and they can not settle the meaningless ideas promptly and effectively, creating excessive anxiety among these freshmen; besides, they can not settle and control their negative emotions very well, so they worry about their study and their future and about the lack of self-confidence and interpersonal skills. （5） the mental health of undergraduate freshmen is obviously worse than that of junior college freshmen.
