摘要
图书馆作为信息产业的组成部分之一,在知识的传递、信息贮存、交流中起着非常重要的作用,它是智慧和文明的象征。但图书馆也面临着激烈的竞争,因为目前在知识、信息的传递、交流方面与图书馆具有相似功能的方法与手段越来越多。所以,图书馆要想在竞争中处于不败之地,必须改变服务理念,从提升服务能力,创新服务方式,提高服务水准,运用品牌经营等策略,以确保自己所提供的信息与服务有合适的市场位置,从而确立战略上的优势地位。品牌是图书馆服务水准与服务层次的标志,也是图书馆文化的体现。因此,营造图书馆品牌是体现图书馆社会竞争力和社会价值的重要体现。
As a component of the information industry,library plays a very important role in the knowledge transfering,information storage and communication.It is a symbol of wisdom and civilization.However,Library faces fierce competition.Nowdays,there are more and more similar methods and means,which are similar to the functions of libraries,during the process of knowledge and information transmission and communication.To put itself in an invincible position,library must change the service concept,improve service quality,innovate the development mold,improve service quality and use brand management strategies,in order to ensure that the information and service,which provided by itself,have suitable market position.Thus,library establishes the strategic competitive advantage.The brand is a sign of quality and levels of library services as well as the symbol of library culture.Therefore,to build library brand is to reflect the social competitiveness and the important social values.
