钢琴虽从元代就传入中国,但中国钢琴音乐的创作至20世纪初才开始真正发展,经过几十年的努力,中国钢琴音乐作品能屹立于世界乐坛,是中国优秀传统音乐与西洋作曲技法高度融合,走民族化发展之路的丰硕成果。

Piano has been introduced in China in Yuan dynasty, however, Chinese piano music made a real start until the beginning of 20th century. Chinese piano music combines outstanding traditional music with advanced western composing techniques, and after several decades, standing rock-firm in the family of music circles.
