"雯当姆",又称"矮人舞",是黔南州荔波县颇具代表性的布依族民间舞蹈之一。"雯当姆"源于明末清初而一直延续至今,为布依族民众所喜闻乐见。它诙谐风趣,幽默古朴,是布依族社会生活的艺术反映,充分表现出布依族人民对幸福快乐人生的执着追求,具有较高的艺术审美价值。

＂Wen Dang Mu＂, also known as ＂Dwarf Dance＂, is one of the representative Buyi folk dances in Libo County of Qiannan. Buyi people love to see and hear ＂Wen Dang Mu＂ with humor and simplity, which originated from the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty and has continued up to now. This dance is an artistic reflection on Buyi＇ s social life and fully presents Buyi people＇ s pursuit of happy life, being with better art and aesthetic value.
