Two Aspects on the Relationship of Buddhism and Taoism in Wei-Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties

魏晋南北朝是佛教初传与道教初兴时期,这一时期佛道二教相互竞争、排斥而又相互吸收、融合。本文主要针对这一时期佛教与道教争论的几个问题及二者的相通之处来研究二者关系。

Buddhism and Taoism began to prosper in the early period of Wei-jing Southern and Northern Dynasties,a period when the two religions,Buddhist and Taoism,competed with and rejected each other,at the same time absorbed and mixed with each other.This paper analyzes the relationship between Buddhist and Taoism by addressing several controversial issues between Buddhist and Taoism as well as the similarities between the two religions.
