The majority of the movies directed by Chinese Americans are concerned about the fate of the Chinese American women, who, in the movies, break the silence in their own way and win their discourse power. It shows that these movies serve as a sort of infiltration, resistance and even subversion to the stereotypes of Chinese American women.
