自《红楼梦》问世以来,林黛玉一直是备受学人关注的红楼女性形象之一。研究者从不同的角度,运用不同的方法对这一人物的性格、原型、审美形象、文化内涵、死亡之因等进行了多方面的分析与评论。近十年来,对这一形象的探索研究仍是多方位的,因此有必要对之作一客观梳述。

Since A Dream of Red Mansions came out, LIN Daiyu has always been under great attention as one of the female images. In different light and with different methods, researchers have already had various analyses and comments on the character＇ s figure, prototype, aesthetic image, cultural connotation and causes of death. During the last ten years, the exploration and research of the image have proceeded in many different aspects, so it is nec- essary to review it objectively.
