Chung-yung Text is an important article of Chu Hsi. In this article, Chu Hsi expressed his philosophy structure in brief. What he said about the concept of Shendu has aroused great discussion for centuries. It is pointed out that Chu Hsi uses ＂Shendu＂ to express what we should do after the feelings of pleasure, anger, sorrow, and joy are aroused, and, this concept is a part of Chu Hsirs philosophy. If we want to understand the meaning of the word, we should research it in Chu Hsi＇s whole philosophy structure.
