期刊影响力评价指标之间的相关性研究

Research on the Correlation of Journal Evaluation Indicators

选取常用的15个定量的期刊评价指标,以图情领域的40种期刊为例,详细分析了这些指标之间的相关性,以及这些指标与定性评价指标之间的相关性。研究发现:①在使用影响因子与总被引频次时,不宜选用5年影响因子与他引频次;②载文量、他引总引比并不能反映期刊的影响力,不宜放入评价指标体系;③即年指标不适用于评价时效性不强的学科领域的期刊。

This paper reviews previous research on the correlation of journal evaluation indicators,then selects 15 most commonly used indicators,takes 40 LIS journals as examples,analyzes the correlations among them in details. Results of the study include：first,5-year Impact Factor is suggested to avoid of using together with Journal Impact Factor,and Citation Count with Self-citation Excluded is suggested to avoid of using together with Citation Count. Second,the Number of Publications and the Percentage of Citation Count with Self-citation Excluded are ineffective in reflecting journal＇s impact. Last but not the least,Immediacy Indicator in not applicable the disciplines whose citation speed is slow.
