王国维与西方道德教育理论的传播

Wang Guowei and the Transmission of Western Moral Education Theories

王国维是近代中国最早传播西方哲学的学者之一。他对西方哲学的偏好、担任《教育世界》编职的经历以及投身教育实践,使他将传播的重心转向西方道德哲学及道德教育理论。他从哲学、教育学、课程三个层面译介和引进西方道德哲学及道德教育理论,为近代中国道德教育变革提供了重要的思想观念。他运用西方哲学理论与方法整理和阐发儒家伦理道德遗产,赋予其独特的价值和意蕴。他以赫尔巴特的教育理论为基础,阐述新式教育的宗旨,独树一帜,为建构近代新式教育奠定了重要的思想和理论基础。

Wang Guowei was one of the scholars who spread western philosophy in modern China at the earliest.He veered off in propagating moral philosophy and moral education theories because of his predilection for western philosophy,experiences of holding the post of editor of the journal of Education World and devotion to educational practice.He introduced and translated them from the aspects of philosophy,pedagogy and curriculum,supplying important thoughts for moral education innovation of modern China.Moreover,he applied western philosophy theories and methods to sort and interpret Confucian ethic heritage,endowing it with unique value and meaning.Based on Herbart＇s education theories,he set forth the aim of new education and laid important ideological and theoretical basis for the construction of modern new education uniquely.
