面向问题的方法选择:论图书馆学研究方法的视野转向

Problem-oriented Method Choice: On the Turning of Library Science Research Methods

针对学术界过分强调图书馆学研究中实证方法和专门方法的方法论研究现状,文章指出实证方法适用于类似自然科学那样具有确定性的问题;专门方法适用于单纯图书馆学学科的专业问题。而图书馆面临的诸多现实问题并不具有自然科学意义上的确定性,也不是单纯图书馆学的学科问题。为此,需要针对现实图书馆发展过程中面临的具体问题,追求相应的研究方法和解决路径。

According to emphasis of the empirical method and the special method of libraries science researching excessively in the academia, the paper points out that empirical method applies to problems with certainty such as natural science, and special method is suitable for special discipline problems of simple library science. However, many practical problems that libraries facing are not with certainty from natural scientific sense and they are not discipline problems of simple library science. We should explore corresponding research methods and solutions according to specific problems in libraries.
