When some devices of Konica Minolta Software Development (Dalian) Co., Ltd. were shipped to Dalian Harbor, they were conveyed directly to the company after going through the customs formalities. There was no container opening at the harbor. In the company, however, workers opened the devices’ packages and attached electronic labels to them, and all of their procedures were showed through sync video to the customs officers in the customs house. The customs supervision and the company's installation were implemented simultaneously. It was unnecessary to open the containers and reload them in the supervising area. This facilitation was owed to the Konica's decision of moving into Dalian Bonded R&D Center for International Service Outsourcing at the end of 2010. The center was considered a new supervising measure taken by Dalian Customs for the service outsourcing firms. Using high technologies including the Internet of Things and the cloud computing, Dalian Customs office launched a new supervising model within the center, and thereby gave a new idea for the bonded supervision of medium- sized and small service outsourcing companies. These have great appeal to the outsourcing firms. Following Konica, more companies, such as Toyota Tsusho Corporation, have moved into the center.
