摘要
英汉叙事体广告语篇中物质过程小句参与者的性质不同,分布呈现不对称态势:英语中物质过程动作者的数量高于目标,汉语中动作执行者的出现频率高于动作所涉及的对象。这种过程动作者和目标的不对称性实则体现了两种语言系统句子的基本特征:英语"系统句子"—主谓两分,关系一致,意足形完,行文句界分明;汉语句子—主脑有定、顺势而下,句界模糊,注重话题的承转。
Based on the means of quantitative analysis,this paper makes an attempt to probe into the essence and distribution of participants of physical processes in English and Chinese written ads.,and finds there are some distinct differences: in English written ads.the number of actors is higher than goals of physical clauses,however,in Chinese,more often than not,the exact opposite is true.The asymmentry of distribution of goals and actors in both English and Chinese ads.actually embodies the basic features of systematic sentences of them.That is to say,English sentences are characterized by subject-predicate dichotomy,which has consistent relation,sufficient meanings and complete structures.And there is distinct boundary between sentences.While Chinese sentences are characteristic of salience of topics and transition,whose overmind is fixed.But the sentence boundaries are obscure.
